What is Multiple Sclerosis (MS)?
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a potentially disabling disease of the brain and spinal cord (central nervous system). In MS , the immune system attacks the protective sheath (myelin) that covers nerve fibers and causes communication problems between your brain and the rest of your body.

EAT M.S is a nonprofit organization that was created to be a reliable food supplier for every Multiple Sclerosis patient and MS caregiver. We strive to serve give our customers good quality and quantity.

ABOUT US
What is E.A.T. M.S?
E.A.T. M.S is a nonprofit organization working for the patients of M S. The purpose of E.A.T. M.S is to ensure that no person with multiple Sclerosis or a caregiver of a person with Multiple Sclerosis will have the necessary resources to obtain food. We will support persons with MS with food and financial donations from companies and donors. We want to help to relieve an area of unnecessary stress. Living a life with MS is important to eat and even more important to eat healthy.
Multiple Sclerosis is a challenging disease that brings on many lifestyle struggles. E.A.T. M.S wants to relieve some of the stressors that come along with this disease.

Our Mission is that no person with MS goes hungry by providing demanding resources for those suffering from MS and others to get food and try to stay healthy.
Every meal makes a difference.
Meals in a Year
Our goal is to provide 100+ meals a year Each year, we’ve sourced and distributed the food for many people in D.C., Maryland, working closely with our partners all along the way.

We want to offer the best service possible. Every dollar counts and makes a difference in the lives of our customers. Donations are our only source of income. We appreciate every seed sown. We’re proud that 100% of our total expenses last year went directly to the M.S Patients.
Where your donation is spent?
Your confidence in our Project is important to us. We’ve established stringent accounting and financial reporting methods to ensure your donations have the maximum impact on M.S patients.
Your contributions are pooled and transferred directly to the field, where our expert field staff makes sure they’re used correctly and responsively to provide services for each patient.
